Niners Select Baseball

Dear Parent,

Your son has been selected to play baseball for the Niners Select Athletic Club. He was picked for his character as much as his athletic ability, and if you choose to allow him to play for our organization, we promise to shape both attributes to the best of our ability.

This will be the inaugural season for the Niners as we embark on what will be a journey from fundamentals and development to our ultimate goal of competitiveness and success. The Niners will practice throughout the remaining Fall 2021 and begin tournament competitions in Spring 2022. Fall practices will begin when we receive commitments from parents and can subsequently schedule workouts that best fit everyone’s busy schedules. We understand that many are playing other Fall sports and we encourage this, as we believe it is beneficial to both physical and mental development to play as many sports as possible.

Initial workouts will consist of smaller groups (4-5 players per session) so that each player can receive as much individual attention as possible. Focus of workouts will begin with fundamentals (throwing, fielding, hitting) and progress at each player’s pace and ability. Team workouts will be held toward the end of the Fall.

All players will be provided with the following:
    - Fitted hats and jerseys (one practice jersey, one game jersey) 

     - Baseball pants, belts, and socks
    - Baseball gear bag

Players will be required to provide: 

     - White baseball shoes

     - Gloves, bats, any additional gear used

Niners Select Athletic Club will not require membership dues. Tournament Competition entry fees will either be provided by Team Sponsors or by fundraising.
